Pink Floyd - Run Like Hell🔹EXTENDED UNRELEASED VERSION 🔈 5.1 REMASTERED🔹DSOT - Nassau 1988🔹4K🔹SUBS

[ Adapted, Remixed, REMASTERED & 5.1 Surround Version by Obi Wan Kenobi ]

1:29 Run Like Hell
7:47 Delicate Sound Of Thunder
7:57 Goodbye Nassau!

One year after and having renewed my old computer after it's death in last September,
I'm back with the fifth episode of my "Nassau Extended Unreleased" series, and this time
it comes with some new features such as improved video quality in 4K and 5.1 surround audio
taking advantage of my new and more powerful hardware, impossible things with my previous PC.

For those who are not familiar with this project; THIS IS NOT THE 2019 RE-EDITION NOR ANY
OTHER OFFICIAL RELEASED VERSION OF THE SONG, this is a REAL register from those
magical Nassau Coliseum's nights back in 1988.

My starting point was my master record from the August 20th night and as usual hours of
experimentation, then rebuilded the video to match the song as perfectly as the logic allowed me.
This one will be also special because this is my first 5.1 surround release; and again, THIS IS NOT
THAT 6 CHANNEL VERSION THAT CAME WITH THE OFFICIAL 2019 RESTORED RELEASE.
The process here became even longer since the transformation of the track into the 5.1 architecture
was a new air for me, and complicated and challenging as well, and my goal was to recreate a pure
live sound but getting rid of that weird back reverb flavor present in the official release, just like
my previous remasters, and adding the strength of multichannel dynamics.

"I can't explain, you would not understand", but it's impossible to syntheticly describe this part of
the process, but it was just like playing a puzzle game where priorizing certain pieces, lowered others,
move aside others and inventing some just "to fill the empty spaces"; were days and days and days
of experiments and testing of trial and error.

Some of the features & editing process summary:
▪ Mainly PURE LIVE SOUND: dry, cleaner and organic
▪ 5.1 SURROUND (6 channel audio) sound enforcing the live nuances and avoiding reverbs
▪ LOSSLESS encoding, ensuring the BEST VIDEO QUALITY for this footage on YouTube!
▪ Video rebuilt and improved certain image details
▪ Spacial treatment for voices, instruments, sounds and effects
▪ Several segments were isolated, rebalanced and reinserted to enlighting specific passages
▪ Rick Wright keyboard solo was specially reworked to create the "floating" effect
▪ Added crowd ambience and other effects
▪ Re-equalized and improved general dynamics
▪ General info: final video weight 30 GB (lossless re-encoding) / final 6 ch. soundtrack 700 MB (lossless 32 bits)

🔺Usual recommendations:

▪ The 5.1 surround sound can be used on YouTube on all televisions of 2021 onwards,
as well as in Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku and most Fire TV devices. In addition,
the 5.1 envelope sound is compatible with Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Xbox One X,
Xbox One S, Xbox One and PlayStation 5. Many televisions of the previous 2020 and years
also support the surround sound. Check the manufacturer's information to know if your
device is compatible with the 5.1 surround sound.

▪ I strongly encourage you to play my tracks using SPEAKERS. The reason is that I work
each remaster based on an "air monitoring"; I mean, using the sound through air just like
live sound normally unfolds, and even though headphones will work, the experience will
always be better over a speaker based system. The better the speaker system the better
the experience; forget about smartvs and cellphone speakers, since all of them are deeply
limited in dynamics and hardly can handle mid-ranges.
