We start with US president-elect Donald Trump, now less than two weeks away from his inauguration, but already causing concern among America's allies.
During his latest press conference in Florida, he talked about expanding US territory in a way that would fundamentally redraw the map of the Western Hemisphere.

He said he wanted to rename the "Gulf of Mexico" as the "Gulf of America". He once again talked about reclaiming the Panama Canal. And then the suggestions of making Canada the 51st US state... and getting Denmark to hand over Greenland.

Trump first floated the idea of buying the arctic island back in 2019 during his first term. It came to nothing then - but is more at play this time around? More after this report.

US President-Elect Donald Trump reiterated his threat to terror group Hamas to release all Israeli hostages before he assumes office on January 20 or there will be “hell to pay”. Responding to his threat, Hamas called on the incoming POTUS to show restraint and instead blamed Israel for undermining all efforts to reach a deal.

President-elect Donald Trump held his second pre-inauguration press conference from Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday. Trump called the press conference to announce a major investment in data centers in the United States, and discussed a wide range of topics when taking questions from reporters.

During the question and answer portion, Trump refused to rule out the use of military force to try to take control of the Panama Canal and Greenland.

Trump also addressed several foreign affairs, including Ukraine's war with Russia and the latest on a hostage deal between Israel and Hamas.

The former president will be inaugurated for his second term on January 20.
