Una particular formación en el Show del Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar 2008 tuvo la banda de rock norteamericana JOURNEY con el vocalista Arnel Pineda.
Efectivamente, el cantante filipino fue incorporado a la banda JOURNEY, siendo su primera presentación oficial con JOURNEY el 21 de febrero del 2008 en el Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar en Chile con una transmisión televisiva en conjunto para 80 países y en vivo por señales locales, de cable y el afamado canal A&E. El filipino Arnel Pineda derrochó energía y logró cautivar a todo el público con su voz muy parecida a la de Steve Perry y su gran presencia escénica, rejuveneciendo a la banda y dejando en segundo plano su carácter de absoluto novato. This was an amazing comeback show homecoming for the Foo Fighters. You could tell Dave Grohl was happy to be back! I'd like to thank Dave for using some of my footage for his documentary What Drives Us, that was a cool moment in rock history for me. Also thanks for the guitar Dave and @foofighters !
